STEP 1
MIX & SECTION
Cleanse the hair thoroughly, towel dry and detangle. Using your natural parting, split the hair into two sections. Once ready, prepare the product following the instructions included in your kit.
Tip: Wear protective clothing and the gloves provided in your kit to keep your skin safe from any spills or splashes.
STEP 2
APPLICATION & TAP
Draw a line of product along your natural parting, using the applicator nozzle.
Using the Bblonde Smudge tool, use the tint brush side to gently tap the product into your roots. Apply more colour if you want to achieve a deeper blend. Blend to the desired depth according to the instructions on the packaging—root tap, smudge, or melt.
Tip: Working in a V shape (as below) leave face framing sections to keep colour around your face light and bright.
STEP 3
BLEND
Turn the Bblonde Smudge Tool and use the comb side to blend the colour from the root area towards the lengths. This technique ensures a seamless blend between the roots and existing blonde, achieving a soft, natural finish. Repeat this process for all root sections by working in horizontal sections.
Tip: Try to comb in one smooth motion to avoid gathering of colour. This is why it is important to detangle before you being.
STEP 4
DEVELOP
Once all sections are covered you can use a paddle brush to continue to brush through the colour. The more you brush, the more you blend.
After ensuring the roots are fully covered and blended, allow the product to develop for up to 20 minutes. Refer to your strand test to determine the optimal development time for your hair.
STEP 5
LOVE YOUR LOOK
Rinse colour until the water runs clear and dry and style as usual, then take a moment to admire your beautifully blended roots!
