I have used this in the past and it was okay but this time when I mixed it it was really thick almost to thick to spread I'm not sure if that was due to the temperature of my room being cold but I struggled to apply it. Expensive for what it is you might as well buy salon sized bottle and powder and get more uses.

I used this blonding kit myself and should have let my friend do it for me, my hair is just past shoulders and I could have done with 2 boxes so never had enough stuff, but next time I will get 2. Needed to use condition on my hair as a little dry after. Didn't quite get the right results but I blame myself for that. I would use again.

I got this to use on my hair during lockdown and it was very easy to use. The instructions are clear and concise and I did a strand test the day before as instructed. It did lighten my hair as I wanted but I would say that it does make your hair dry so use a really good conditioner for a few times after. I saturated my hair in argon oil and that worked.

I was a bit nervous about using this to go full bleach blonde, so thought Id try a few painted on flashes around my hairline. The product was really easy to mix to a thick paste, although the smell was not pleasant. I used a fine brush to paint the mixture onto a few strands of hair around my face, and left it to develop for 30 minutes. I'm naturally a dark blonde, and was a bit scared when my hair first turned orange, then yellow, but I waited until it had almost dried, a fetching shade of purple, and then washed it off. I dried my hair as usual, and was delighted at the results. It looked very natural, a pale blonde colour, and framed my face really well. I shall definitely be using this again, and I will probably be braver next time and go for more highlights. Brilliant product, I just love how easy it is to use with such dramatic results.

This is a very effective bleach if you have naturally light hair. It does have a bit of a strong whiff to it, perhaps stronger than I'd like it to be. And you definitely have to take some precautions before use, such as protecting your skin/scalp and doing the patch test. I'm not sure why the complimenting conditioning shampoo needs so many ingredients though - I counted 52! Room for improvement, but good to use if you don't have very fair and brittle hair.

This bleach did work, and lifted a nice amount, however I did find it was extremely dry after a few minutes and therefor a bit patchy. I also found it didn’t leave my hair as soft as other bleach’s I’ve used before

This was easy to use, came with all the necessary tools and was plenty to spread on medium length hair, if you have long thick hair i would think you'd need 2 boxes of this

The result is even and produces very little brassiness.

Bblonde high lift blonding kit is well packaged with clear instructions, the gloves are of a good quality. The product mixes well and the brush is quite easy to use to apply the product. I used this to lighten my dark roots in preparation for using a light ash blonde hair dye. One criticism I do have is that my hair felt quite dry straight after applying and a quality conditioner in the pack would be a good idea. I would recommend this product.

I have tried alot of hair dyes to keep my roots blonde every 4 weeks. The Jerome Russell hair colour is different to the usual mix in the bottle and squeeze out of the nozzle onto your hair, this one is a tip out the content of bleach powder and cream in a bottle into a tub, then mix and apply with a brush. This proved very difficult to me, I have such thick hair, it took ages and there wasn't enough going onto the brush. I was worried the lotion would be ready to come off by the time I got to the other side of my head with the application brush. The blonde colour results were good, it was a nice natural and vibrant blonde. I think this would be good for people who have thinner hair than me or if you have someone kind enough to apply it for you that may work.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this but thought I’d give it go. I did expect the colour to be blonder than it is, but given that hair was mid blonde it really has lifted it. It’s a cooler shade than what I would usually go for but I do like it. Really easy to use not messy, I would recommend.

Have to say I didn't hold out much hope for this as I've had my hair dyed all colours from being a black haired person, but I was pleasantly surprised. I might add I did colour my hair a couple of weeks later as I seriously don't suit blonde ish hair. Didn't go light blonde, but I didn't expect it to to be honest, however, I didn't end up a mucky orange which can happen with kits, so that was unpleasant surprise. Not difficult to use and didn't smell as strong as some kits can.

For the past years I’ve been trying to grow out “mermaid” colors from my hair, purples, pink, blue and a stubborn green that I’ve had previously failed to lift. Fed up waiting for Mother Nature to help to grow my locks longer, I decided it was time to take matters into my own hands, also I’m long overdue some pampering! I would first suggest that you pick up 2 boxes and not one as that means you can get perfect coverage and don’t need to stress about missing any spots! Inside the box you find everything you need and the instructions are clear and concise! The mixture doesn’t drip or land where you don’t want it, huge relief so the bathroom and tiles are stain free! The scent is light and not at irritating, the dye went on easily and with two boxes I had more then enough to do a thorough application and fully saturate my long locks. So I got this blonding kit to use on my highlighted hair and it’s not the best in all honesty. It’s ok. It claims to lift shades up to 8-9 with professional results but I was not that impressed. Good points are that it’s simple to use with clear instructions but the end result was quite brassy and I also found that there was not really enough for my length hair. Overall it’s ok but not the best.

First time using a product like this to lighten my hair. My hair is already blonde but noticed more brassy tone to it over last few weeks. After using other products to remove the colour in my hair some time ago, without much success, I didn't hold out much hope that this one would be any better but I was pleasantly surprised. I was a brown colour and wanted to go lighter and this really worked for me. It didn't go 8 times lighter than I normally was but I wasn't looking for it to be that extreme so I left mine on for about an hour and I was very pleased with the result. It was easy to use, just as easy as any other hair colour but one problem I had was that because I have quite long hair, I could have done with using two boxes but I will know better next time. It also left my hair feeling quite dry but I'm sure a good hair mask will sort that problem out.

I bought this to get my hair all the same colour as there was dark blonde at the bottom and lighter colour at the top, I found this easy to use and I only left it on for 25 minutes but the result was very good it was when I washed out the colour and used the shampoo that comes with it that I was disappointed as my hair was left like straw. I have washed my hair since and found it very dry, don’t know if I would get it again if they vastly improved the shampoo I might give it a try hence the 3 stars

Used this product to try and add some lighter tones to my hair for a change. It has a really good texture and love that the pack comes with everything you need. It does smell a bit strong when using it left it on for the stated time and it slightly changed my hair colour but not to a huge degree. Would definitely try it again to see if I can get a better result as it was good quality hair dye.

You need to be confident to use this bleach as this gives you the extreme lightening, think Charlize Theron in Atomic Blonde & Denise van Outen, this is the only home lightening kit that gives you white blonde hair so it’s not for the faint hearted. When I go to the hairdressers to ask for my hair to be bleached they always turn me down because it causes hair breakage etc so I occasionally bleach my hair at home when I want a change. I have dark blonde hair & this lightens my shade to almost white blonde so it’s true to the before & after shades on the box. It’s easy to use & lightens hair quickly but be warned it dramatically lightens & there’s no going back. This is one of the few blonding kits you can use on dark brown hair. This hair dye has improved so much over the years as it no longer gives any yellow tones and it surprisingly didn’t dry my hair out at all so it’s still soft & shiny.

Decided to go a few shades lighter from dark blonde hair to a more platinum blonde so I thought I’d give this a try. It comes in its own peroxide bottle which I found great as you don’t have to measure your peroxide etc as it’s all done for you. It also comes with a sachet of peroxide bleach. I have below shoulder length hair that’s fine but lots of it so I opted to use 2 boxes and very happy I did as my hair just soaked it up. It lightened my hair a good 2 shades lighter and love the lighter blonde I have now after using the maximum blonding kit. It did dry my hair out a bit tho so I used a conditioning treatment on my hair and wrapped my hair up in abhot towel for 40 minutes then rinsed and my hair looked so shiny and glossy which is hard to get with blonde hair. Overall I personally think it’s a fab home dye kit that’s simple to use and get a good result for your hair needs.

This is great for doing your hair at home, comes with everything needed! Including mixing bowl, applicator brush, hair cover and gloves! Clear instructions included easy to mix the solution! I used mine to touch up my roots that had gotten quite long due to lockdown! The colour lifted well and gave a nice final colour finish! My hair feels soft and in good condition too! Simple application and so far the colour has lasted is vibrant and no fading. Got this maximum blonde kit I must say this is the one of the best ones I have used! It is my new favourite. I used this 2 days ago when applying this dye there was not a strong chemical smell at all. It was very pleasant to use and once washed did not feel stinging, burnt or hard to brush. I used this a few days ago and it worked really well and it didn’t try my hair out like other kits I’ve used and it’s amazing with everything that comes in the kit it’s really handy as I’d usually just use a old container and then my hands to apply it with the gloves but I didn’t have to with this kit definitely recommend

Used this to take out previous colour from my hair and to lighten ready for dying. Hair riot was dyed brown. After using hair was an orangey yellow but after adding an ash blonde dye to it and using silver toner to neautralise it has settled and is looking better. Think as hair quite long and dark could have done with two applications but overall pretty good product though worry bout overall condition of hair although is currently feeling very soft

I have used Jerome Russell blonding for quite a while now. I have natural brown hair and wanted a blonde ombre effect. I used the powder along side the Jerome Russel 40%vol peroxide. I followed the instructions down to a tee and got a perfect result. I wouldnt recommend this product for highly damaged hair.

You definitely need someone to help you apply this. I found it really hard to do the back of my hair and ended up with it being patchy. That’s not really the fault of the product tho. The instructions were clear and concise and the outcome was that it bleached my hair. I did have to add a toning colour afterwards as I didn’t like the blond I ended up with. Just know that this is a bleach rather than a colour

I used this bblonde maximum blonding bleaching kit to lighten up my already highlighted hair, it did brighten in places also some parts were brassy but nothing a toner won't sort out, great for a couple of shades up but not if you want maximum lift. Very easy to use with precise application, overall a very good at home kit.

Used this on my hair (dark brown) and does what it says it should. Gives a nice colour, could have done with another box as I have really long hair, but other than that really good bleach. Not too overpowering and didn’t feel to harsh on the hair.

Even after bleaching my partners hair for the first time we were not sure what to expect but his hair has come out a nice gingery blonde as well as getting rid of his chronic dandruff he suffers from. We were shocked it's been a week and no sign of any flakes as well as his hair feeling soft whereas usually when u bleach hair it becomes brittle and straw like. Definitely recommended but if you have black hair definitely buy two boxes

Overall quite happy with this blonding kit. There is not a lot of product but the amount in this box was perfect for my hair length. I followed the instructions on the box - I left it on for 90 minutes and achieved a golden blonde colour which I was really happy with!

We used the kit to put highlights in my dark my blonde hair and to lighten my daughters brown hair at the ends ready to put blue dye on. Mine went slightly lighter than hers but only because we were studying it. It's an easy to apply dye with great results

I am really impressed with the results after using the maximum blonding kit and my hair feels and looks like I have been to the salon! The product is really high quality and has lightened and coloured my hair perfectly and the shade looks great too. After using the product my hair feels so soft and shiny. A great kit all in all. Perfect for my short, fine hair as the bottle is quite small. I leave it on for over an hour, my hair comes out quite light white blonde. Obviously as with any colour on hair it needs to be managed well with a good conditioner to tackle the dryness, but i would still recommend, perfect product for me!

This hair dye gives a lovely colour. I've wanted to go blonde for ages. It was really easy to apply as the instructions were clear. My hair doesnt feel dry. It actually feels hydrated and looks shiny.

This was used on a light brown hair that had never been coloured.it was easy to mix and apply.the colour result was a light blonde with no orange tones.I used the conditioning shampoo it left my hair feeling soft and heathy no dryness .great product I would use again

I don’t usually colour my hair at home but because of lockdown it’s necessary. I have blonde ends already but my roots were coming through. I have naturally mousey hair so it didn’t need to lighten too much and this lifted my hair well. I did have to use a purple shampoo afterwards and make sure you put a hair mask on for a good while after as this does dry out your hair. I don’t think I’ll make colouring my hair at home a frequent thing but this certainly did the job and I’m happy with the results.

Was skeptical as having dark brown hair in the past it hasn't really taken but thought I would give this a go. So glad I did as I am amazed it worked so well. Decided as wasn't sure of the colour I would do the ends only as it wouldn't take long to grow out but I'm actually gutted I didn't do more as I loved the result (now on my shopping list to get more). The instructions said to leave for 20mins to 90 minutes depending on result you were after, I opted for 60 minutes and was shocked it took so well. Really impressed with this and can honestly recommend to all brunettes who fancy a change in colour, excellent results in the comfort of your own home.

This is a lovely colour after use, also so easy to do, apply to hair then wash of when says, style as normal and your hair is lovely and soft, definitely reccomend it to family and friends
