This stuff is brilliant at keeping your blonde cool and ash. You use it as shampoo. I personally use it in between salon appointments to keep the warmth tones at bay. It does how we dry your hair slightly so I always follow with a hair mask.

I used this for the first time and it will not be the last. Easy to read instructions which makes the toner a dream to use - put it on, stick your hair in a messy wet bun, heat with a hair dryer for upto 5 minutes, leave in and relax whilst it does it's thing. The results are actually amazing, I left it on slightly longer and it has a lovely silver tinge!

I bought this for my mom,and she really liked it very simple to apply and it works well hasn't got that horrid amonia over powering smell that you usually get with toners.the shade is suttle but it gives it a more natural look instead of that bright yellow that neve looks good .I've seen this on my mom and she looks lovely so yes I'd recommend this to all blondes looking for that natural look.

love the toner as I dye my hair blonde, it's perfect for getting rid of that yellow tinge/brassiness, doesn't smell awful like some and has a gel texture which is much nicer and less messy than other dyes, perfect for topping up in-between hair appointments and touch ups, would recommend!

I used this on my roots that I bleached, it's like a shampoo gel texture which I loved. Altho it didn't do much, did tone the blonde abit but not alot, was also streaky in some places but not to bad.

Was not sure about using a toner but gave it a try. What a great result it lifted my hair gave it a more natural look. It got rid of the yellow tones and made it look so much better. Although it's not permanent it has given my hair the fresh look I had when I first had it done. Definitely will be getting more to keep my hair looking great.

I had my hair lightened about 6 weeks ago and it was starting to look a little brassy so I tried this blonde toner. I followed the instructions which were clear on the packaging and waited for 30 minutes before I rinsed it off. My hair colour looked like it did when I walked out of the salon and the brass effect had gone. Although not permanent it will lengthen the weeks before I go and get my hair dyed again.. Very good product.

I would love to go to the hairdressers every 4 weeks or sooner depending how how quickly the greys come through lately. But I have a busy life and can't always make it. This actually felt like I had my hair done by the hairdressers, it looked so good! Really easy to use..washed your hair and towel dry. Massage it into your hair, I always leave the roots until last. I personally used cling film to wrap around my head and let it sit for 15 minutes to activate the heat and then use the hair dryer for a few minutes to get the best result. And wow! My hair is left soft without damage which is a big win for me. I did use the whole bottle but have got thick hair, next time I would buy another, just because I'm growing my hair and it's getting quite long. But the results are amazing. Beautiful blonde without any damage and soft. I've saved myself £70! Smells great also, not like the norm bleach scent. Definitely recommend.

I’m always nervous when toning my hair as I colour it regularly and usually just top up the roots. I was pleasantly surprised at how much this lifted my hair and got rid of the yellow tones - even my husband noticed, which is a miracle in itself!! It was easy to use and didn’t make loads of mess. I did have to use a bit of conditioner but that’s due to the condition of my hair - not the toner. There’s even enough in the bottle for another application!!

This toner does its job. Perfect for use between visits to the hairdresser. It perfectly cools the yellow tones of my hair. It is enough to gently massage into washed and towel-dried hair, wrap it in transparent foil, leave it for a maximum of 30 minutes, rinse and it's ready. We can feel like after visiting the hairdresser.

I’m quite cautious when it comes to using toner and like to read all the reviews before giving one a go. It’s just my luck that my hair will turn green. I normally use fanola which it good but this is better. I left it on a little longer than it said to and went heavy on the underside of my hair as it’s so thick and the colour turned out amazing. It wasn’t too white either, just a fabulous light blond shade.

I love this little box of maximum blonde toner. Really easy to use wash hair towel dry hair then massage from root to tip. I usually leave on for 15 mins with clingfilm on and hairdryer it for 5 mins. Then when rinsing i have a lovely up to date platinum blonde. Really love jerome russell would buy again.

Does exactly what I expected it to do. I have highlighted hair that is a little darker at the ends than the roots. It tends to go a bit brassy in between visits to the hairdressers so I like to tone it at home This product has given my hair a much cooler tone and has evened out the colour a bit too. My hair was bleached twice to get it nice and light before I toned it. Some parts were white from bleaching and some were a very light yellow. This toner did a great job at cooling the colour down. However because my hair had different tones of yellow/white, it just made some parts a cooler shade of pale yellow. I would recommend this product though because it does a great job!

Overall this is a good product for blonde hair. It was very easy to understand instructions and was very easy to use. Hair feels great, looks lovely and has no more brassy shade... This is really good, does exactly what it says it will do. Doesn't smell great which is my only reason for dropping a star but this is the case with most anyway. Achieved a great colour and brought the blonde bits up very well. Could definitely notice the difference.

I brought this hair dye about one week and I can gladly say that I am more than pleased with the results, I have never used a Jermaine Russell brand before and I would recommend this to other people. I found the instructions really easy to follow, the colour took really well and was happy with the result, only downside is that it doesn’t come with gloves or it’s own conditioner so I had to use my own. This product is really easy to use. It applies effortlessly. The hair absorbs the toner really well. I have very dark hair, so when it's highlighted its not the best shade straight away. Having recently gone from red to blonde my hair is really quite brassy. I thought this would be the perfect occasion to try out this toner. It was very easy to apply but the amount given is not at all generous. I have a short Bob but have thick curly hair and one box simply wasn't enough. There was a small change in the tone of my hair afterwards, a shade or so less brassy, but nothing drastic. There are lots of products put there that do a similar job for less fuss and less money.

Recently used the Jerome russell platinum toner in between colouring my hair to liven it up abit and lift the colour. It worked beautifully taking the brass tones out and replacing them with lovely light blonde. The toner itself smells really nice because it doesn't contain ammonia or bleach,don't be put off by it being purple it washes out fine and only takes around 20 30 minutes to work. I like it it's great.

I’d never bleached or dyed my hair before myself and I I I I really loved using Jerome Russell toner , I wanted to reach a platinum shade and this gave me the perfect colour! I bleached twice with jerome russel (leaving a weak in between to not damage my hair too much) and then used this Platinum blonde toner. I have used it again since after the colour washed away and it went even better platinum shade this time which I absolutely love. Easy to maintain with purple shampoo too! I found this product easy to use as the instructions were simple to follow. Before applying this to your hair make sure you have some gloves ready. I applied the toner onto my hand and then to my hair. I left it for only a few minutes on my hair and then rinsed it off. Whilst it did brighten my hair it also left a purple tint to the top of my hair.

My hair is bleached and after few weeks it becames yellowish and realy dry. This toner working amazing, remove all yellowish tone and turned in great platinum blonde color, my hair wasn't damaged more, it shinny and excelent color. Very easy to use following instuctions and it takes just 10 minutes. Really recomended to use if have yellowish or brass tone and want to have salon results at home in just 10 minutes.

Platinum blonde toner has taken taken the yellow and brassy look off my hair. My hair is coloured blonde but sometimes I see slight yellow or brassy colour, my hair looks all one colour after using this toner and I’m happy with this shade so I know for next time this platinum toner can sort my hair colour if my hair has a bit different colour. Good size package and bottle is just enough for my thick long hair bit I would buy two just in case one is not enough. So easy to use and instructions are easy to read.

I had recently dyed my hair and ash blonde colour and needed to take some of the yellowish tone out and try to brighten the colour a little so I had opted to try this toner. Naturally I don't use toners as I usually go dark in hair colour but this time I needed it and honestly I was super surprised that it worked. It took out the yellowish tones and lifted the colour to make it brighter. I made sure to spread it more around the roots and blend out toward the tips which helped to even the spread. Always made sure to do a test strand and to not leave it sitting too long as it could leave different colour strands which isn't what you want.

It’s a purple on colour put it in after washing hair do not use conditioner. Use a hairdryer for 5 minutes then I left it on for 30 minutes. Was concerned my hair would be purple ! Yes it does give me orange tones but this toner is a perfect way to balance them out. It's really easy to use and helps banish those brassy tones that haven't quite bleach. It gives you full head coverage and doesn't damage the hair. I will always recommend this brand to anyone who needs advice for bleaching or toning.

I have pre-bleached and lightened hair so thought I would give this Platinum Blonde Toner a go to see if it would reduce the yellow tones of my hair. It had easy to follow steps but I do wish it was more than 75mls so I could use it generously on my long hair. As a result of using this I did notice a little change in my hair tone but no drastic change. I think that after a second application it might look more visible.
